The cover is colorful and inviting to girls of all ages, and the thicker than normal pages have spaces that provide room to write or draw or color as you express what God is showing you. The ribbon marker ensures that you don't lose your place, and the elastic closure keeps the Bible closed for travel. This is a wonderful Bible for journaling, one other reason being that there are no "extras" except for a page on "How to Use this Bible."
I really like this Bible, even though I don't normally like hard cover Bibles. This is well-made with a cover that is inviting and colorful. It pulls you in which is where God's Word and space for reactions can be found. If you are looking for a Bible for a "girl" of any age, check this one out!
