Merilin is the son of a swordsmith. His partial blindness has led him to be shy, and all he wants is to find a happy life with the woman he loves. A discovery in the forest changes things, however. I love the tales of Merlin and King Arthur, so was intrigued by this new book by Robert Treskillard. It engaged me and transported me to these magical times. It is well written, and the characters are fun to follow. If you enjoy tales of Merlin, and would like a glimpse of what it may have been like at the beginning of his story, this book is for you.
