“Darling Girls” by Sally Hepworth
Wow! If you like books that combine real life type situations, mystery, some love, and some thriller; this book is for you. I couldn’t put it down and read it in about 12 hours with interruptions like eating and a visit from grandchildren. I saw every scene in my mind and worked to figure it out. The characters were realistic and believable. For me, that is a great author. The three main characters will grab your heart and you may not ever look at the foster care system the same. I promise that the surprises at the end will keep you guessing. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read.
“The Boogie Barn Band “ by Nephew and Neal
This is a fun children’s book, introducing fun characters playing the instruments. The words of the book are the words of the fun song included with the book. My grandchildren (Kindergarten and First Grade) totally enjoyed singing and dancing while reading the book. Come meet Reggie, Hank, Blue, Rocky, and Jazzmine as they treat you to some music from the Boogie Barn Band. The children in your life will love it.
I received a free copy of the book for an honest review. The words are totally mine.
“The Gnomes of Fibberton” by Becky Bell
What an excellent children’s book. The book deals with the consequences of lying with characters that are drawn well and with a song that sticks in your mind. I have two grandchildren, one in Kindergarten and the other in First Grade. They loved the book and song, dancing around the first time they heard it. When they came by a couple days later, they were singing the song and remembered the words. That is what good children’s book authors do for children. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children in their lives. It will make you smile.
I received a copy of the book from the publisher for a truthful review. These are all my own words.
